Happy Summer, soon to be Fall!
I can’t believe the summer is almost over! I’m a warm weather girl so the summer seemed far too short.
I’m pleased to announce the official release of my new EP, “Have a Little Mercy”!
It was produced by Nashville’s hottest production team, New Voice Entertainment- Rich Redmond, Kurt Allison, Tully Kennedy, and David Fanning. This production team is the genius behind superstar duo Thompson Square, American Idol’s Kristy Lee Cook, and Parmalee. Also, three of the four members (Redmond, Allison, and Kennedy) are the band behind multi-platinum selling artist Jason Aldean. I was truly fortunate to work with them. I didn’t start out with a particular theme for this EP, but one seemed to naturally form. My last EP, Let It All Begin, contained songs of encouragement. This one seems to have turned out to be more about strong women, with a sense of humor about love. I have also included the song and music video for Dream on Savannah. I got so many emails from people inspired by that song and its anti-bullying theme; I wanted to share it with a wider audience.
The other big news is that the single, “Have a Little Mercy” is nearing the top 40 mark on Music Row’s Country Breakout Chart and is still moving up!
